WILD MEDICINALS & EDIBLES

"Everything you need grows within an 8 mile radius"

Presented by Sheila Looman, CHt, RMt

Date: July 20th

Place:  103 Hunter Heights

Time:  9:00 - 11:30 a.m.

Cost:  $30.00

When you hike through the woods, do you know what vegetation is edible or medicinal or what vegetation can possibly harm you?

Join us as we venture through the woods gathering samples of wild vegetation.  We will learn how these local plants have been used for centuries for folk medicine and food.

We will learn how to prepare a simple cup of herbal tea, an herbal bath, oil infusion, tincture, and we will make an herbal salve to take home.

Please wear appropriate walking shoes, dew may still be on the ground, and bring the following with you:

Notebook & pen

4 oz. glass jar with tight fitting lid

Hand clippers or scissors

Small baggies to put your samples in

After the workshop, we will be serving herbal tea & refreshments.

CALL: 518-863-2638 to reserve
